Privacy policy

This policy explains how Equivalência Contábil handles the personal data of people who visit this website or contact us through it, under Brazil’s General Data Protection Law (Law 13,709/2018, LGPD).

Data controller

Equivalência Gestão Contábil Ltda, CNPJ 27.479.163/0001-55, headquartered at Av. Feliciano Coelho, 917, Trem, Macapá (AP), with an office in Alphaville, Barueri (SP), Brazil. For any matter regarding your data, write to contato@equivalenciacontabil.com. As a small-scale processing agent (ANPD Resolution CD/ANPD No. 2/2022), Equivalência provides this communication channel instead of a named data protection officer.

Data we collect

In the contact form: name, title, company, phone, e-mail, revenue range, subject and message. For the newsletter: e-mail. While you browse, our hosting provider logs technical data, such as IP address and browser type, for security and to run the site. We do not ask for sensitive data through the website.

How we use it and legal basis

To reply to your enquiry and prepare a proposal at your request (LGPD art. 7, V). To send the newsletter, with your consent, which you may withdraw at any time through the unsubscribe link or the e-mail above (art. 7, I). To keep the site secure and measure usage in aggregate, based on legitimate interest (art. 7, IX). We do not sell personal data or use it for automated decisions.

Who we share it with

Only with providers that run services on our behalf: website and form hosting (Netlify), our internal client management system, Google Fonts, which delivers the site’s fonts, and, if enabled, Google Analytics. We may also share data when required by law or by an authority.

International transfers

Some of these providers store data outside Brazil, mainly in the United States. Transfers follow LGPD art. 33, with providers that adopt contractual clauses and security measures consistent with the law.

Cookies

The site does not use advertising cookies. If audience measurement (Google Analytics) is enabled, it uses cookies to count visits in aggregate, and you can block them in your browser settings.

Retention

Contact data is kept for up to 2 years after the last interaction if you do not become a client. If you become a client, it is governed by the service agreement and by statutory accounting and tax retention periods. Newsletter e-mails are kept until you unsubscribe.

How we protect it

Access is restricted to the staff who need it, the site uses encrypted connections (HTTPS) and our internal systems require individual logins.

Your rights

At any time and free of charge, you may request confirmation that we process your data, access, correction, anonymisation, portability or deletion, information on who it was shared with, and withdraw consent (LGPD art. 18). Just write to contato@equivalenciacontabil.com. We reply within 15 days. You may also lodge a complaint with Brazil’s National Data Protection Authority (ANPD).

Children and adolescents

This site is aimed at companies and professionals and does not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
